Yesenia Alvarado, LSWAIC

I have found a passion for empowering others to heal and prosper in their lives. My goal is to help my clients become more resilient, so they can overcome anxiety, depression, complex trauma and the unexpected challenges in life. I am confident in creating a safe place for clients to freely self-disclose their experiences and deepest thoughts. I welcome multicultural clients, as I specialize in Individual adult therapy, child/adolescent therapy (must be 5 years or older), family and marriage counseling.  I plan to guide my clients efficiently through personalized practices, as my focus is directed towards Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Strength Based Therapy. Core principles that strengthen my skills set are acknowledgment of cultural sensitivity, empathy, and integrity.

My background consists of working with inpatient and outpatient psychiatric clients. I obtained my Masters in Clinical Social Work from Walden University and I am consistently open to opportunities that further my education. I look forward to assisting my clients with evidence based practices, trauma informed knowledge and encouragement, so they can live happier more fulfilling lives.
