Clinical Therapist Associate
“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.”

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
If you are carrying the heavy, exhausting weight of past trauma, you have come to the right place. I specialize in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful modality designed to help your brain and body reprocess distress and finally file those painful memories away where they belong. Whether you are healing from profound trauma, navigating a major life transition, or trying to figure out why your nervous system treats a minor email like a high-stakes boss battle, I offer a safe, neurodivergent-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ affirming space to unpack it all.
My approach is deeply collaborative, entirely tailored to your unique story, and paced to ensure you always feel secure. This balance is grounded in over a decade of public service for the state of Washington. I have provided therapy in high-intensity settings, including inpatient care for severe and persistent mental illness, crisis response, and the justice-involved population. That background taught me two major things: healing is never one-size-fits-all, and human resilience is incredibly vast.
Education and Experience:
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Walla Walla University in 2025. Prior to that, I earned my Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Washington State University in 2018. I have over a decade of experience providing services for the state of Washington. For the past four years, I have been providing individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention services for a residential in- patient unit. I am trained in EMDR therapy, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Gottman Method level 1. I incorporate elements of various other therapeutic modalities to tailor my approach to the individual needs of my clients.
My Therapeutic Toolkit:
I draw from a wide array of evidence-based modalities to build a customized plan that actually makes sense for your life:
-EMDR Therapy is my primary tool for transforming how trauma lives in your mind and body with the aim of reducing or eliminating distress.
-I integrate strategies from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic, and Narrative therapies to help heal and unburden the disconnected parts of yourself.
-I draw from Attachment Theory, Person-Centered, Relational, and Existential Therapies to explore how you relate to the world, how you relate to your environment, and who you want to be.
-I weave in strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to give you concrete, actionable coping mechanisms.
-I am trained in Gottman Method Level 1, offering couples a research-backed map to navigate conflict and connection.
-I use Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy when we need efficient, direct momentum toward a specific goal.
Therapy for Geeks, Creatives, and Out-of-the-Box Thinkers:
Alongside my traditional clinical training, I am a Certified Therapeutic Game Master. I am deeply passionate about incorporating your strengths and interests into your care. If you think in terms of character sheets, narrative arcs, world-building, or tactical strategies, we will absolutely use that to your advantage. In this office, your passions are treated as therapeutic superpowers, not distractions.
Together, we will collaboratively set goals to help you heal, find balance, and level up your life at a pace that feels comfortable and completely safe for you.
Outside the Office:
When I’m not wearing my therapist hat, you can usually find me spending time with my family, playing strategy games to engage myself mentally, or challenging myself physically on the Wrestling/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mats. If you are thinking about starting this journey, please know that you do not have to navigate it alone. I provide a deeply nurturing, safe space to untangle those tough experiences—with plenty of warmth, zero judgment, and always a little room for shared laughter. If you are ready to begin, let’s connect, roll up our sleeves, and gently build a path toward healing so you can live the life you truly deserve.
