Parker L. Brooke, MC CPCC, SUDP, LMHCA

I am a longtime resident of the valley and currently serve clients in both Richland and Walla Walla. I hold professional licenses in both mental health counseling and substance use disorder treatment. My background includes extensive work as a substance use disorder counselor, crisis counselor, and mental health intern, with experience addressing co-occurring disorders. I work with diverse populations across various stages of change and need, including individuals, families, survivors of domestic violence, and those experiencing substance use disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders. My areas of particular interest and specialization include trauma work, with an emphasis on domestic violence, sexual assault, and gender dysphoria.

Therapeutic Orientation and Treatment Modalities:

I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all clients. My goal is to support client autonomy and empower individuals to make informed, meaningful decisions for their lives.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on:

● Positive Psychodynamic Therapy

● Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

● Existential Therapy

● Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

● Person-Centered Therapy

I take a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, tailoring interventions to each client’s needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. I collaborate with clients to identify the most effective methods for gaining insight, improving symptoms, and enhancing overall quality of life. I look forward to working with you in a way that honors your voice, values, and goals.
