Heather Vigil, MS CPCC, SUDP, LMHCA

My name is Heather Vigil. I am a longtime resident of the valley and currently serve clients in both Richland and Walla Walla. I hold a Substance Use Disorder Professional license (CP61103619), an Agency Affiliated Counselor registration (CG61038060), and a pending Mental Health Counselor Associate license (MC61680516) with the State of Washington.

My background includes several years of experience as a substance use disorder counselor and crisis counselor. I completed my Master’s degree internship in Walla Walla wherein I addressed many mental health concerns, including co-occurring disorders. I plan to continue working with a wide range of populations in various stages of change and need. I have experience and a passion for working with individuals, families, domestic violence survivors, and those suffering from substance use disorders, mood disorders, and even personality disorders.

I am LGBTQ+ affirming and dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all clients. My goal is to empower individuals by supporting their autonomy and helping them make informed decisions for their lives. I provide emotional support, psychotherapy, and access to resources that promote healing and growth.

My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. I work from a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective, always honoring the client’s autonomy in the therapeutic process to support meaningful and desired outcomes. I genuinely look forward to working with you!
