In-Home Service Provider

 
WHO WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE 
We are looking for therapists /counselors who have been trained in, or who are interested in being trained in Evidence Based Programs and non-EBPs such as, Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Project SafeCare, Triple P: Positive Parenting Program, Promoting First Relationships (PFR ), Incredible Years (IY), or Family Preservation Services (FPS).  
 
Job Duties: 

  • Provide a range of clinical, advocacy, and concrete services tailored to each family in accordance with company policy. 

  • Work with families in their homes and, when applicable, community settings. 

  • Schedule client sessions at times that are convenient for families, and at times family members most need our help and support. 

  • Collaborate and communicate with DCYF social workers, case managers, and other collateral contacts on behalf of the client.

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work. 

  • Be properly licensed/credentialled/certified as appropriate and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics binding on or applicable to the services performed for Anchor Point Counseling PLLC.

  • Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 business hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. 

  • Communicate with a patient’s treatment team and collateral contacts (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, case manager, social worker etc.) as necessary. 

  • Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: CANS-F assessment, intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Anchor Point Counseling PLLC or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). 

  • Keep patient files accurate and up to date. 

  • Attend mandatory staff meetings, supervisions and training as directed by Anchor Point Counseling PLLC. 

  • Participate in regular quality assurance audits.

  • Conduct and regulate all services professionally to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Anchor Point Counseling PLLC.  

  • Interact with co-workers in a way that reflects Anchor Point Counseling PLLC’s team values 

  • Other duties which may by assigned by Anchor Point Counseling PLLC.

Compensation: 

  • $18/hour during training and onboarding, $21-25/hour DOE thereafter for clinically related services

  • 100% mileage reimbursement at .70 cents per mile.

 
 
Minimum Requirements: 

each of the modalities have slightly different requirements for level of education, level of experience, etc.

  • High school diploma

  • Valid driver’s license, a vehicle in good working condition, and automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements. 

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet client needs (including some evenings, weekends and holidays). 

  • Willingness to drive up to an hour or more to treat clients.

  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check. 

  • At least 21 years of age.

  • Minimum of two years’ paid or unpaid experience working with children and families.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field; OR undergraduate degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field

  • Three or more years’ experience working with children and families in their homes 

  • Current Washington license or ability to qualify for one of the following licenses: 

    • Licensed mental health counselor 

    • Licensed mental health counselor associate 

    • Licensed clinical social worker/ licensed advanced social worker/ licensed independent social worker 

    • Licensed clinical social work associate 

    • Certified Counselor 

    • Certified Adviser 

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
