Pronouns: She/Her
Hi there! Graduating in 2023 with my Masters in Social Work from Walden University, I am currently working under my Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work Associate in the state of Washington (LSWAIC) (License #SC61515593). While completing my internship for my MSW, I had provided Solution-Focused Brief therapy at Blue Mountain Health Cooperative.
With this said, my career in mental health began in 2016, including extensive experience in mental health crisis case management along with presently being designated in the state of Washington as a crisis responder (DCR). My professional journey is marked by a deep commitment to providing compassionate and effective support to diverse populations and mental health diagnoses.
My career began with specializing in crisis intervention, where I honed skills in managing acute situations and providing immediate, high-quality care to individuals in distress. This experience encompasses a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders. I have worked with individuals across their lifespans, from adolescents to older adults, in various settings, including community mental health centers, law enforcement, schools, emergency departments, residential treatment facilities, and corrections.
Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to using evidence-based practices to guide my therapeutic approach. I integrate client-centered approaches to care, including: cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, crisis intervention techniques as needed to address each client's unique needs. My ability to remain calm under pressure and her empathetic approach has earned her a reputation as a trusted professional in the crisis field.
In addition to my clinical work, a passion of mine is to advocate mental health awareness and have been involved in community education and outreach. It’s a life-long mission of mine in helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting access to quality care for all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances.
